Fadal Controlled CNC Operator’s Training Class (P/N TNG-0000)
Training (Using the CNC 88HS Control) is two days.
Monday and Tuesday 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
Course Description: This course is to familiarize each student with the basic operation of the Legacy control. Material covered includes power on procedures, explanation of the controls, command mode, data input, menu operation, machine positioning, tool management, spindle and coolant operations, Fixture offset and Tool length offsets explanation.
Fadal Controlled CNC Basic Programming Training Class (P/N TNG-0001)
Training (Using the CNC 88HS Control) is two and half days.
Wednesday and Thursday 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM until approximately Noon.
Course Description: (Manual programming, No Cad Cam is discussed) This course is to familiarize each student with the basic CNC programming of a Legacy control. Material covered includes program organization, program formats, CNC coordinate system, G codes, M codes, cutter radius compensation, circles and circular interpolation. Students attending this class should have completed the Fadal Legacy Operator’s Training Class, have a basic understanding of mathematics, geometry and blue print reading. Please bring a calculator.
Fadal Controlled CNC Basic Maintenance Training Class (P/N TNG-0002)
Training (Using the CNC 88HS Control) is four and a half days.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM and
Friday 8:00 AM until approximately Noon.
Course Description: This course gives a overview of the basic maintenance and repair of Legacy machines. Material covered includes the mechanical and electrical operations of idler assembly, belt systems, drawbar assembly, orientation arm, gibs & straps, tool changers, transformers, wiring diagrams, spindle drive systems, amplifiers, circuit boards, lubrication systems, chiller systems and diagnostics. Students attending this class should have a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and associated drawings.
Classes will be cancelled if less then three students are scheduled with a maximum of eight students per class. For cancelled classes we will give approximately two weeks notice.
Operator and Basic Programming are available in English and Spanish. Maintenance classes are in English only.
Students are requested to wear appropriate machine shop attire when attending classes. Long pants, short sleeve shirt and closed shoes are acceptable. Safety glasses are required in all areas except office areas at Fadal.
The cost of the Maintenance class will be $ 1,200.00 per seat for classes held at Fadal and $ 4,500.00 plus expenses for all on site training.
Purchase Order number will reserve a seat in a class. A hard copy of the Purchase Order is required for payment.
