The strength of MAG Fadal’s VMCs is its foundation. MAG Fadal VMCs are designed with a well proven C-Frame Architecture with a wide base. The base and column are engineered with heavily ribbed cast iron construction and integral flame hardened box ways. This heavily dampened structure allows for intense machining.
The key advantage of a box way system is vibration dampening. When one makes a heavy cut in a material, the machine experiences vibration as a result of the significant forces developed. Since MAG Fadal machines are constructed with box ways, the large contact area between the ways and table, combined with overall stiffness of machine, significantly reduces vibration. As a result, MAG Fadal machine owners are able to cut material deeper while maintaining a fine surface finish than our competitor’s machines.
